Australian Heritage Bush Cleaver
Australian Heritage Bush Cleaver
Intended Use:
This knife is designed for lawful hunting, camping and bush use only. It is not intended for combat or unlawful activity. Buyers are responsible for complying with their local laws.
This is my take on a proper Australian Bush Cleaver.
I chose this pattern because sometimes you need more blade and more weight. This one is built for heavier work around camp and in the bush. It’s not a small carry knife — it’s designed to handle tougher jobs.
The blade is 27cm of 1095 high carbon steel, strong and made to hold a solid working edge. It’s sharpened on one side with a thick spine, giving it strength through the blade.
The handle is 13cm, giving you a firm, controlled grip while still keeping the knife balanced.
It weighs 590g including the sheath, so it has the weight you’d expect from a chopper without being excessive.
Like the rest of my knives, this is a functional replica. It’s built to be used, not just displayed.
Every knife is 100% handmade. Every part of it is made by hand, not mass-produced by machine. Small variations are normal and part of what makes each piece unique.
It comes with a 100% genuine leather sheath to suit the blade properly.

Steel Care:
This knife is made from 1095 high carbon steel. That means it’s tough and holds a great edge, but like all high carbon steels, it needs basic maintenance. Keep it lightly oiled to prevent rust. After use — especially after hunting or being outdoors — wipe it down and give it a light spray of WD-40 or another quality oil. A quick wipe with an oiled rag every now and then will keep it in good condition.
Strong. Practical. Built properly.
Made for Australians.
